As per request, today I'm doing the 20 Questions Book Tag! 🥳This is the second and final post of the week, according to my new blog schedule. I found this tag over on Reading Ladies. I had fun with this one. Please remember that all opinions are my own and negative opinions are NOT an attack on you if you disagree. Enjoy!
1. How many books are too many books in a series?
I generally don't like when books have 6 or more in a series, but it all depends. If it's engaging and I'm really invested in it then I will obviously savour having more books (like Harry Potter and Rick Riordan's books) but otherwise I'd rather not. I don't like long series when the whole series isn't released yet because when the new books come out, what am I supposed to do? Reread the other ones?? To conclude my rant, long series had better be good because they require dedication.
2. How do you feel about cliffhangers?
Obviously, cliffhangers are a form of painful torture BUT I kind of sort of welcome it lol. If it's a GOOD cliffhanger that isn't forced or meh, then I want it to consume my every thought until the next book comes out and then I can ravish it lol. Kingdom of the Wicked and Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco both have amazing cliffhangers that kept me waiting for the next book and made me pre-order. 🥰 On that note, can't wait for Kingdom of the Feared, it's coming out October.
3. Hardback or paperback?
I don't want to sit on the fence for all these questions but I feel like I will for quite a few I'm sorry 😖 Hardbacks are obviously prettier and look better on a shelf and no spine cracking, but I love paperbacks because they're easier to read and I like contemporaries in paperback. Paperbacks are cheaper and more practical, but hardbacks are fricking gorgeous and more durable so I'm at a standstill here 🤷♀️ Most of my books are paperbacks because they're cheaper, but I have a few hardbacks, like I just got We Hunt the Flame duology by Hafsah Faizal (muslim author rep yay!!) in hardcover and they're gorgeous and I am not letting anyone touch them 😍
4. Favourite Book?

A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas

5. Least favourite book?
Hmmm. Cursed Child by J K Rowling is definitely one. Another is Den of Vipers by K A Knight and also Credence by Penelope Douglas.
6. Love Triangles, yes or no?
Rather avoid it. But it's not a dead-to-me trope. If it's well done, I actually really like it! But when it's obvious who the main character is going to choose, then don't bother, it's just frustrating. The Inheritance Games series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes does the love triangle sooo well because I actually don't know who the mc is going to end up with! It's honestly a 50-50. Equalateral triangles only please. 🙄
7. The most recent book you just couldn't finish?
The Rebound by Catherine Walsh. I got it as an e-arc, but the miscommunication trope is soooo frustrating.
8. Current read?
A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J Maas. Loving it. 💞
9. Last book you recommended to someone?
I recommended From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L Armentrout (an all time favourite series) to my goodreads friend Hasini.
10. Oldest book you've read?
The Taming of the Shrew by Shakespeare. I read it for school and I hate it. It's mysoginistic trash 🤮
11. Newest book you've read?
My arc that I dnf'd, The Rebound by Catherine Walsh. It comes out Feb 14th 2022.
12. Favourite author?
I'm not sure! But I love Leigh Bardugo! I've read all of her Grishaverse books and her worlds, plots and characters are so carefully crafted and executed, I love her! Also, the representation!!
13. Buying books or borrowing books?
Buying lol 😇
14. A book you dislike that everyone else seems to love?
Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge. I've heard great things about it but I read it and totally did not connect with the story at all. By the end, I was confused and started skimming.
15. Bookmark or dog-earing?
100% bookmarks! I'm super sensitive when it comes to my books, dog earing is monstrous 😩
16. A book you can always reread?
The Selection series by Kiera Cass. I've reread it sooo many times I've lost count. It's honestly such a comfort read.
17. Can you read while listening to music?
Definitely not. Too distracting.
18. One POV or multiple POVs?
🙈 I was dreading this question!! I just can't decide! They both have their merits. One pov gives an immersive flowing story through one main character, which I love. But so many of my favourite books have multiple pov's to give the full spectrum view of the story! If I absolutely HAD to choose like in a life or death scenario, I guesss I'd go with one pov?? BUT I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE!!
19. Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?
Ummmm both. If I'm loving a book and I'm not getting interrupted then I can binge-read in one sitting. I love staying up late even though it's unhealthy 😅 so I like reading all night long. I recently read A Court of Mist and Fury in 24 hours (my highest record, 650 pages at once 💀) But, usually I read books over a couple days, since I have work and other responsibilties.
20. Who do you tag?
Any of my followers who want to do it, consider yourself tagged! Email or comment me the link to your post, I'd love to see 💖
Thank you for reading!! This was a pretty long tag, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Happy reading 📚💓

Hi, I love playing the pokies. I love the sound of the coins falling and the feeling of being one spin away from something big. I've spent a lot of time pulling those levers, hoping to hit the jackpot. Every visit to the casino is like an exciting challenge. Even when I don't win, the atmosphere continues to entertain me. Can anyone else get lost in pokies for a few hours?
If you want to play great online games, you will definitely be welcome here - reddog casino is the only place where I was given big bonuses for online games, I was delighted when I started playing here and saw how cool I was supported here with the game, it's incredibly high quality and cool to play and win online here, I love playing on this site online and recommend you to do the same!
