2021 is the best reading year I've ever had! 🎉🥳🙌
It's also my first full year on Goodreads, so I have to give Goodreads some credit 😊. I joined last year around November, and ever since, my reading has skyrocketed. There's just something about logging my reading and seeing the percentage go up and the Goodreads reading challenge that really motivates me to read more. In addition to my reading rate, my buying rate definitely went up. One thing I definitely want to improve on in 2022 is reading my physical books. I was reading online a bit too much this year. I found so many amazing all-time favourites this year, it's crazy! I feel like every other book was a 5 star 😁! Something that drastically improved my reading this year was online school!! With school online, I had so much more time to read and I was even reading online during some classes 🤭 although thankfully, my grades didn't go down.
At the start of the year, my goal was 50 books, but when I passed that I made it 80. And then 100, and then 150 and then I didn't want to change it after that. I think for next year, I'll make my goal 120 books. It seems fair since I probably won't have online school and I'll be a bit busier too.
Overall, it's been a crazy year for life stuff but a beyond amazing year for reading! 🥰
