Opposite Book Tag

Helloooo!!! I'm back with another book tag... the Opposite Book Tag. I found this over on ZeZee With Books. Let's get started!!! 🤗

First book in your collection | Last book you bought

The first book in my collection is Charlotte's Web by E.B. White... I think? I'm not completely sure but I just went with that. The last book I bought was actually a preorder on Amazon that I've been looking forward to for a while: Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco. I'm so excited to read it!

A cheap book | An expensive book

A cheap book is It Ends With Us which I got for $9, such a good price! I love that book, it's an all-time favourite. The most expensive book I own is my hardcover copy of Vow of Thieves which I got from Amazon for $30. It's pretty pricey! But there was no paperback so I splurged 😅

A book with a male protagonist | A book with a female protagonist

A book series with a male protagonist is Percy Jackson and the Olympians by RIck Riordan, which is a childhood favourite. A book with a female protagonist is Cress by Marissa Meyer, another favourite!

A book you read fast | One that took you a long time to read

The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller is really engaging and fast-paced. The romance is chef's kiss 😘, it's another treasured favourite that I definitely recommend. A book that took me a long time to read is The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. It was just really slow and domestic thrillers aren't my preferred genre.

Pretty Cover | Ugly Cover

Blood and Honey by Shelby Mahurin is just stunning, even better than the first book: Serpent and Dove. Whoever designed that cover deserves a raise! My copy of the Book Thief is just plain ugly though, no doubt.

A thin book | A thick book

A thin book on my shelf is How The King of Elfhame Learned to Hate Stories by Holly Black, which I have yet to read. The illustrations are gorgeous! The thickest book on my shelf was a tossup between Winter by Marissa Meyer and Midnight Sun by Stephanie Meyer. After careful examination, it was concluded that Midnight Sun is thicker.

A fiction book | A non-fiction book

A fiction book is Flawed by Cecilia Ahern. It's a really good dystopian, definitely underrated! A non-fiction book is Prophet Muhammad: The Seal of All Prophets by Rahime Kaya. A fantastic, informative read.

Romantic Book | Action Book

I love romance! Especially in fantasy, so I decided to go with From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout, which is my favourite series at the moment. The romance in this book is unmatched, on another level!! 😍 I don't read much action but I love Divergent by Veronica Roth. A nostalgic fave.

A book that made you happy | A book that made you sad

I don't think these books are just sad or just happy. But I tried my best. A book that made be happy was Love Song by Sophia Bennet. A book that literally broke me to pieces (obviously it still had some happy parts in it, but mainly sad) was All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover. It's literally my favourite book ever. I love it so much. 💔

That's it for the Opposite Book Tag! Hope you enjoyed!!! Leave a comment down below or contact me if you have any requests!
